Scope of Application
The Huawei OceanStor 5310 and OceanStor 5510 Capacity Flash Storage have been designed for all scenarios to support the migration from hybrid flash storage to eco-friendly, fault-tolerant all-flash data centers. The devices provide high-quality services for Tier-1 and Tier-2 applications that are not latency-sensitive, such as virtualization, containers, files, backup, and archiving.
Special Features
Compared to performance-oriented SSDs and HDDs with the same capacity, capacity-oriented SSDs consume 60% less energy. The intelligent Single-Level Cell (SLC) caching technology reduces write amplification for capacity SSDs and extends their lifespan.
The devices support cross-generation systems in a cluster through scale-out and scale-in technologies, ensuring that there are no host failures during additional storage upgrades.
